The Deadlift allows more weight to be lifted than any other exercise. It is one of the most fundamental human movement patterns: bending over and picking something up off the floor...and then putting it down. We teach you how to perform this basic natural movement with a very heavy barbell in your hands. The deadlift builds strength in the back, arms, chest, legs, buttocks, calves...and spirit. It is a safe, effective, simple, grueling exercise that will get you strong in a hurry. 

 

We have learned that a simple sequence of movements performed during the setup, when followed exactly every time, results in a perfect set of joint angles for pulling the bar off the floor. Deadlifts are performed once a week for single sets (unlike other exercises, which are performed for multiple sets).
